Connecting Tabby to your platform
Tabby is interest-free instalments for buyers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait. The buyer picks Tabby at checkout, is approved on Tabby, and comes back to your platform.
Tabby pays you the order amount and carries the collection itself, so the money reaches you as it would for any paid order, whatever the buyer's instalment dates are.
From the Growth plan
Tabby BNPL on your platform
Instalments across three markets
A buyer in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Kuwait splits the order, and your checkout accepts Tabby for orders in those three currencies.
Tabby in the buyer's language
Tabby's page opens in Arabic or English, matching the language the buyer is browsing your platform in.
Split on the discounted amount
What Tabby splits is the order total after the coupon, not the price before it.
With the rest of your platform
The instalment amount on the product page
Your platform shows what one instalment costs next to the price, before the buyer reaches checkout.
A full order in your records
A Tabby order has its own number and buyer details, and counts in your sales reports like every other order.
Refunds recorded against the order
A refund starts in your Tabby dashboard, and your platform then records it on the order and withdraws the buyer's access.
What decides whether it appears to a buyer
- Tabby stays visible at checkout, and when it declines an order the buyer is asked to pick another payment method.
- Tabby accepts orders in the Saudi riyal, the UAE dirham and the Kuwaiti dinar, and an order in another currency goes to your other payment methods.
- The reason for a decline comes from Tabby itself and is shown to the buyer as Tabby words it.
The connection steps are in the help centre
Tabby is connected from the Apps page of your dashboard, with the keys and merchant code from your Tabby merchant dashboard. The help centre covers the steps, including sandbox mode before you go live.
Open the help centreCommon questions
- What is the difference between Tabby and Tamara on my platform?
- Both are interest-free instalments and both can run at once. They differ in the markets, currencies and order limits each one accepts for your account, so running both covers more orders.
- Does Tabby cost extra on Lymonah?
- The connection itself has no fee. What you pay is Tabby's merchant fee, set in your agreement with Tabby.
- When does the order amount reach me?
- On the settlement schedule in your agreement with Tabby, not on the buyer's instalment dates.
- Is a separate account needed for each market?
- Tabby issues a merchant code per store and currency you sell in, and that code goes into the app's settings on your dashboard.
- Why was the buyer asked to choose another payment method?
- Tabby declined that order, for a reason that belongs to the buyer's Tabby account or to the limits on yours. The decision is Tabby's, not your platform's.
