Practical review · 13 October 2026
Trying Lymonah before moving from Msaaq
We created a demo course and learner in a separate local test installation of Lymonah. These screenshots document actions we performed on 13 October 2026, using demo data and no customer records.
The course contained two lessons. We opened the text lesson, marked it complete, returned to the learner library and resumed learning. The saved progress stayed at 50%, with one of two lessons complete.
1. Read a structured lesson
The learner sees the lesson content and course outline together. Before completion, the progress counter showed zero of two lessons.
Open full-size screenshot2. Save completion and progress
After we selected Mark as complete, the lesson showed Completed and the progress counter changed to one of two lessons, or 50%.
Open full-size screenshot3. Return and continue learning
The learner library displayed the same 50% progress and a Continue learning link. We followed it and verified that the completed lesson remained saved.

What this review establishes
We verified text lesson access, completion tracking and saved progress after returning to the library. This is a local product walkthrough, not a customer case study or a completed migration from Msaaq. It does not establish payment processing, quiz grading or certificate delivery.
Before moving your academy, repeat this flow with a sample of your own course. Then separately check video playback, assessment results, certificates and the payment methods available to your account.
Why choose Lymonah as a Msaaq alternative?
Course sales, learning tools and marketing are available on both platforms. The decision rests on the products you need to sell, the plan limits, payment costs and the workflow your team uses.
Training and sales in the same account
Msaaq provides sales pages, checkout and organisational training. Lymonah combines those workflows with bulk learner import and access without a purchase, so you can manage private training and public sales in the same account.
Courses, consultations and files together
Msaaq lists recorded and virtual courses. Lymonah also lets you sell consultations, digital files, memberships and bundles. These additional product types are not confirmed on the Msaaq pages reviewed here, so check their availability with its team if they are essential to you.
A trial with your own course
Before moving, test a recorded lesson, a quiz, an assignment and a certificate in Lymonah. Confirm the limits of the plan you need and any specialised training requirement. Progressive course delivery is stated by Msaaq and is not available in Lymonah.
Marketing for your public courses
Msaaq lists email campaigns, abandoned-cart recovery, coupons and affiliate marketing. Lymonah offers forms, segments and automations too. Compare the actions you need and your plan limits rather than treating marketing as a capability unique to either platform.
Custom reports beyond learning dashboards
Msaaq describes learning dashboards and training reports. Lymonah lets you build saved reports across learning, sales, bookings, marketing and payments. Saved reports and exports depend on your plan, so include those requirements when comparing subscriptions.
Manage your platform from an AI assistant
Lymonah connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP-compatible assistant to your account, so you can create courses, update pages and products, manage learners and read reports from the assistant you already use.
When do you need a Msaaq alternative?
Moving from Msaaq to Lymonah makes sense when your training work needs one of the following.
- If you need private training and public sales alongside consultations, files and memberships, Lymonah combines them in the same account. Msaaq also lists sales pages and checkout; compare the additional product types you need.
- If you need to enrol a whole organisation at once, Lymonah imports learners in bulk, grants access without a purchase and limits sign-up to approved email domains.
- If you want to offer paid consultations, files, memberships or bundles next to your courses, Lymonah sells them all through one checkout and one customer record.
- If you want to read sales, learning, bookings and payments in one saved report, Lymonah lets you build it and export it according to your plan.
- If you want to manage courses, pages and learners from an AI assistant, Lymonah connects Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible assistant to your account. It does not include a built-in AI course writer.
- If your organisation needs a platform licence from the National eLearning Center, Lymonah provides the technical integration and operating requirements, and your organisation applies to the Center for its own licence.
Common questions
- How do Msaaq and Lymonah prices compare?
- Msaaq does not publish a subscription amount on its current pricing page. A comparable quote needs the same learner volume, team roles, storage and training requirements. Lymonah publishes monthly and annual plans on its pricing page. The monthly prices shown here exclude payment fees and any separately purchased add-ons. There is no verified basis here for claiming that either platform is cheaper.
- What is the total cost of selling a course?
- Total cost includes the subscription, payment processing, any add-ons, taxes where applicable and migration work. The Lymonah Pay fees in the table apply when you use Lymonah Pay. An external gateway has its own fees and eligibility requirements; check the chosen plan and provider. Compare both platforms using the same expected sales and number of transactions.
- Is Lymonah a replacement for Msaaq?
- Yes, Lymonah is a complete LMS for institutions and training centres, with organisational training, course sales, assessments, assignments, certificates, learner progress, reporting and team management. Compare any specialised requirement such as progressive delivery before moving.
- Can I move my existing courses across?
- Start with an inventory of your courses, source videos, files, learners and access rights. Keep an export from Msaaq where available. Rebuild a sample course in Lymonah, upload your source files, import learners and verify their access. Test checkout, lessons, quizzes and certificates before changing your domain or closing the old platform. Confirm separately which progress records, past payments and subscriptions can be transferred; this page does not promise an automatic full migration.
- Do I keep my customer list?
- Lymonah lets you import learners and grant product access without a new purchase. First check which fields Msaaq can export, then map learners to their courses and test with a small sample. Keep your original export and verify access before inviting the full list.
- Can I obtain an NELC licence for my Lymonah platform?
- Lymonah provides the technical integration and operating requirements needed to connect your platform to the National eLearning Center. Your organisation can apply to the Center for a platform licence, which is issued after its requirements and approval process are completed.
- Can I sell consultations as well as courses?
- Yes. Paid sessions have their own availability, booking page, checkout, meeting details and booking records.
- Is there a trial?
- Yes. There is a 7-day trial with no credit card required, and you can cancel at any time.
